At Movivan, we prioritize the safety of your belongings during moving and storage. We wrap furniture in blankets and special paper for protection, use bubble wrap for fragile items, and ensure paintings stay dry and scratch-free with special paper.

Can I access my items during the storage period?
Yes, you can visit our facility with advance notice. Access is available 7 days a week between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, excluding major holidays. Just contact us in advance to schedule a visit.
Do you offer student storage in London?
We do! Our student storage solutions are perfect for university breaks, studying abroad, or changing accommodations. We’ll pick up your items, store them safely, and deliver them back when you return—saving you the hassle of hauling everything home.
Is there a minimum storage period?
The minimum storage term is 1 week, but we can store your items for as long as you need—whether it’s a few days, several months, or even years. We offer both short-term and long-term storage options.
Are your storage units climate-controlled?
Yes. Our storage units are kept at ambient temperatures with low humidity, making them ideal for storing electronics, documents, artwork, and furniture.
Is my storage insured?
Yes, all stored items are covered by basic insurance for fire, theft, and damage. If your items are particularly valuable, we can offer extended coverage—just let us know the value during your booking.
Can I bring more items to my storage unit?
Yes, you can bring and place some small items into your allocated storage as long as there is space left. If the amount of items you want to add is significant we reserve the right to increase your storage weekly fee.
How much does it cost to store furniture between moves?
If you need to store furniture between moves, Movivan provides overnight and short-term storage space. The cost of overnight storage is £80 per van per night. The cost of short-term storage will depend on how many days you want to store the furniture.
