Yes. For larger properties or full packing services, we usually pack the day before to ensure everything is organised and labelled properly. This is especially helpful in London where tight parking and time restrictions require efficient loading on moving day.
💬 How long does it take to pack my home?
On average, a team of 2 packers will need 2-3 hours to pack a 1-bedroom property, while a typical 2-bedroom home will require between 5 and 7 hours. A 3-bedroom house can be packed in about 5-6 hours, as we will send a team of 3 or 4 trained technicians. The exact packing time will depend on the number of boxes needed and the amount of breakables that need packing.
💬 Do I need to be present during the packing service?
You don’t need to be present during the packing service, but we need someone to let our packers and movers in, show them around and explain what should not be packed and should be left for moving day.
💬 Do you offer export packing for international moves?
Yes. We use specialist materials and crates to meet shipping regulations and ensure your items arrive safely at international destinations.
💬 What items won’t you pack?
For safety reasons, hazardous materials, perishable food, cash, jewellery, and important documents should be transported by you personally. These items require special handling or are your responsibility to secure separately.
💬 Can you collect the empty boxes after the move?
Yes, we collect used packing materials and boxes. Let us know if this service will be required when booking our services.
💬 Do you recycle packing materials?
Yes. As part of our commitment to eco-friendly practices, we offer a packing material recycling and disposal service. After you’ve unpacked, we’ll collect your used boxes — just let us know and we’ll arrange a convenient time.
💬 How far in advance should I book packing services?
We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially for full packing services. This gives us time to schedule the right team and ensure availability on your preferred date. For larger properties or peak periods, earlier booking is advised.
